A luminous exploration of Ontario fruits. We are always delightfully surprised by the fruity mixtures and unabashed melding that goes on just over yonder in Guelph, Ontario. Head fermenter Tariq seems to have one of the most open minds and agreeable palates around, and we are just happy to live in the same province! ‘Blue Moon’ is a blend of cider aged on blueberries and dark plums for a full year, blended with orange wine made from the structured, zippy hybrid seyval blanc and ruler of aromatics, gewürztraminer. Silk and mulberries, fleshy blueberry, sticky red plums, leather scraps, a floral arrangement at your doorstep & firefly-light tannins. Pour alongside old willow trees at twilight.
