Located in the northern province of Teramo, Emidio Pepe has been making some of the world’s most coveted wine since the end of the 19th century, boasting organic and biodynamic farming practices, hand-harvesting, no fining/filtering & no added sulphur. One of the world’s most famous and cult-y producers, we get a tiny allocation once per year, and this is it FOLKS! The trebbiano is crushed by foot in wooden tubs bringing textural complexity from the subtle skin maceration that takes place. A supple sweetheart, straw hat, lemon oil, raw almond, iodine, ginger chew, yellow apricot meets nectarine & fresh flowers follow a trail of salt.
