A positively slurpable Ontario gamay for weeknight walkies in the park. A brand new local winery, Somewhere was founded by Amanda Schroeder. Raised around her mom’s Alberta wine shop instilled her love from a young age, and after working in the not-for-profit world she decided to follow her dream of creating the wines she felt were missing in the Ontario drinkscape. Serendipity was a friend to them in 2023, as a favourite grape became available at the right time to create this gamay. Grown in a sustainable vineyard and aged in neutral French oak barrels for seven months, unfined, unfiltered, bottled with lees. Playful, juicy berry blast balanced by earthy speckles & a nod of herbs. Enjoy with a cool slice of leftover pizza off a paper towel plate.
