A Valencian vin de soif of ripe fruits and bristly botanicals. Agrícola de Vinos La Higuera is a small project founded in 2017 by two friends, Javier del Blanco and Jorge Navascues, in which they work with top estates from diverse Spanish regions. Their aim is to produce delicious wines true to both their origins of place and grape with an everyday price tag. The delightfully balanced bobal is sourced from a single parcel called La Pinada that was planted in 1958, on alluvial and clay soils. Flowering mint, pepper packet, brambly raspberries mix with plump ripe strawberries, a tannin & root-y earthiness.
