A lifted yet structured peek into the glorious world of nebbiolo, from cooler climate Alto Piemonte! Noah is the passion project of Giovanna Pepe and Andrea Mosca, named after their son, the 4.7 hectares around Brusnengo in northern Piedmont is where they live and work. FUN FACT! The historic area was nearly completely abandoned in the post-war period but was slowly revived by a tiny group of strong-willed, hard-working producers! Today the small output from this region has a global impact, creating some of the world’s most sought after wines from the red volcanic soil known as porphyry. One year in large slovenian oak provides tight-knit structure, with cherries found at the bottom of a moist cave, forest floor lilies, menthols, tar pit, cracking walnuts & actually learning Italian from the bathroom at Terroni.
