A wafting, mineral arneis to whisk you straight off to Piedmont. From the steep slopes north of the Tanaro River, Luca Faccenda and Carolina Roggero are young winemakers working exclusively with the regional grapes nebbiolo and arneis. This lively project was built upon the pair’s love for the sandy region of Roero, perpetually inspiring them to create elegant, finessed and essence driven wines from low-intervention techniques. A blend of two parcels of arneis, one picked early for acid, the other picked later and left for 10 days on skins for texture and romance. A stonewall mineral structure, breaths between floral plumes, spruce tea, white peach bite, sweetgrass, 90’s glitter T-shirt, pear compote on passion fruit sorbet & tickled with salt. Enjoy with an extra large shrimp cocktail, extra horseradish.
