A southern sweetheart with twangs of acid, candied spurs and the supplest texture around. After working for the celebrated Dominique Belluard in Savoie, and Jean-Claude Lapalu in Beaujolais, Sylvère Trichard began Séléné in his hometown of Blacé, with farmer and friend Elodie Bouvard in 2012. A negoce wine, the organic grapes for ‘Cuvée du Sud’ were purchased from Clos Massotte in the Languedoc and vinified in Beaujolais with the breezy Séléné touch. FUN FACT! Séléné is the Greek goddess of the moon, and the work in the vineyard and cellar is mainly carried out according to the lunar cycles! Tart fruit gusher packet, the gentlest rose petal texture, mineral slackline, dusty laneway & candied cherry charm. Enjoy during afternoons of lawn bowling.
