An aromatic and articulate everyday kinda Ontario orange. A brand new local winery, Somewhere was founded to make owner Amanda Schroeder's dream orange wine come true! Being raised around her mom’s Alberta wine shop instilled her love from a young age, and after working in the not-for-profit world she decided to follow her dream of creating the wines she felt were missing in the Ontario drinkscape. The spiced Niagara pinot gris (47%) and cutting riesling (53%) were left on skins for 17 and 22 days respectively, with punchdowns twice daily to extract texture and seasoned nuance. Fluttering florals, gingerly spiced, golden nectar & an orchardly crunch sewn together with tannin. Enjoy during a double feature of Wizard of Oz and Wicked, somewhere over the rainbow indeed.
