A tumbling, earthy California red lit from within by chef’s kiss acidity and fleshy fruits. An ode to her nature-loving grandmother, winemaker Rosalind Reynold’s project Emme focuses on minimal to no intervention winemaking, producing negocé wines from her rightful place in a downright hot-bed of new-cali talent! Always the slowest fruit to ripen at Ricetti vineyard, valdiguié, California's juiciest grape, was picked with lower sugars than typical (meaning lower alcohol). It was partially foot crushed for seven days, allowing some whole cluster fermentation to add savoury structure to this plush and chill-able star. Fallen wood in a minty bog, white blueberry meets purple plum & charcoal tannins with red currant acidity flowing in-between. Enjoy while twilight dreamin’ on the back deck, the loose neighbourhood cat by your side.
